Juventus and Atletico Madrid Vying for Henry Onyekuru

Everton striker Henry Onyuekuru has emerged as one of the hottest transfer stories ahead of the winter market despite failing to play a single game for the Premier League club.

The 20-year-old joined Toffees from Eupen for a fee believed to be in excess of £7 million but has immediately been loaned out to Anderlecht after work permit issues.

Fifteen matches and seven goals later, the hot-shot striker has managed to prove his worth and demonstrate his talents in the Belgian Jupiler league and turn the heads of clubs such as Juventus and Atletico Madrid.

The Italian media are suggesting that Serie A and La Liga heavyweights are vying for Onyekuru’s signature and would be willing to double the price Everton invested in the Nigerian to make him a long-term replacement for either Gonzalo Higuain or Fernando Torres, respectively.
